  1. Hey everyone:)

This past weekend ( Oct 31-Nov 2 ), my squad and I stayed in St. Lucia, South Africa for our visa run. We left on Friday morning and came back on Sunday morning. It was a short and special weekend. So much happened and we saw the Lord’s face in an intimate way. I guess you could say that revival hit our hearts, the beautiful beach, and the courtyard of our weekend home.

There are so many important details I could share, but, for now, I’d like to focus on how God moved on Saturday:)

NOVEMBER 1st, 2025…………

What a day. Where do I even begin? The Lord MOVED in this day. This was a day where my whole squad saw the hand of the Lord. My day started off with a sweet little Bible study at a smoothie shop with my roommates (Ella, Gabrey, Jaydin and Avery). We talked about the intentionality of the Lord and that displayed in Jeremiah 29:11 and Genesis 50:20.

We then had a time of debriefing our last month in Swazi. We shared the highs and lows, the mountains and valleys, and even some feedback. Even this was worship:). Braden (one of my squad leaders) brought up the fact that we had 16 days left in the hurting country of Swazi. We had 16 days left to pour into the people around us. We had 16 days left. With that, we can choose to be complacent or we can choose to give our all-to leave it all on the field. We are here to choose fire and intentionally. Jordan (another leader) then explained with tears in her eyes how we have such a minimal time to hug until we can’t feel our arms. To say “I love you” until our mouth no longer moves. To give everything we have to a people who are worth it.

Right after debrief, worship team had a small meeting, and it was so inspiring and rejuvenating to see the fire as we planned out the details of the evening. The way Zoey sees people and cares for them yet wants to push them is so sweet, and the purity that comes out in Bridger’s desire to worship is unlike much I’ve seen. Megan has a heart so humble and when she has an idea she brings it out so gently yet with authority. I love my worship team.🥰

My roommates and I then walked around the cutie little town and got coffee. We went to a handmade market area and the Lord blessed me with the ability to get a towel and a blanket, which I had asked Him for:)

For the next few hours, most of the squad stayed at the beach, spending time in community and connecting with the locals-sharing Jesus!

Later that evening, at 5:00, worship on the beach rolled around. We intended to hold it on the sand, but the wind was a little too windy. We made our way to a little hill covered in grass that overlooked a dune and the waves crashing behind-one of the most beautiful spots. Many people’s hearts weren’t in it, and that was evident, but we started anyway. As we began, a storm rolled in with drizzling rain and rolling thunder and striking lighting. It was the most beautiful storm and such a powerful demonstration of who our God is. It, again, felt so intentional.

I saw a women right down the hill who was scrambling to pack up all the things she was selling to those who walked by. My heart pricked for her, but God said “wait.” So, I waited. Then, one of my sweet teammates, Lia, ran over to help her. Praise God for Lia’s servant heart. As I was worshipping and kept asking the Lord if I could go help this women, He said “wait” many times, then, eventually said “go.” I ran down in the rain to help her pack up and carry her heavy loads to her car. I stood by her car as everything was is in, and told her that I was there because I love Jesus and asked if there was anything I could pray for for her and the man she was with. She said yes and I had the opportunity to take their needs to Jesus.

After that, I went back to the hill and took my share of communion. We sang and Abba told me to just look at the water. To see the rumbling. To feel the power. To witness the beauty. I stood there wet in the wind with freedom flowing out of my open arms and a beaming smile. I knew what the Lord allowed me to do and felt His presence so strongly. I then went as He led to stand on the dune just ahead. I stood there and worshipped for a moment, then looked up and made eye contact with a man walking by. I talked to Him for a second and told him again that I was there because I love Jesus and asked how I could pray for him. It was rushed, as is common here, but such an opportunity to be obedient. 😊Thank You Jesus!

Saturday night soon rolled around, and we decided to move baptisms to the pool in our courtyard (because of the lighting earlier in the day). My leaders got together and decided it was best to move testimonies and just do baptisms. So, that’s what we did. It turned 8:00 and i went to gather the troops. It was cold and windy still, and hearts were far. The air was heavy and the burden felt strong. As we were about to start, the heaviness weighed me down. So, I spent that time in prayer with an occasional tear. I stood as people tricked in, chatting with the Lord about the heaviness. Eventually, at 8:40, we started, and the heaviness was still there. Braden asked the Lord that morning for an opportunity to baptize people, and there it was. He said, before we started, that in the name of Jesus we’d be there for hours. We had no idea who even wanted to be baptized but it didn’t look like many. One of my sweet sisters got the ball rolling, though. Braden saw a vision of all the hands in the water praying over who was is there, so we did just that. I sat there with my hand stretched down and tears streaming out as I cried to the Lord, still feeling heavy. Another teammate went in and I sat in the same position. I got to take the administrative side during this, which felt so special. I don’t think each detail is for me to share, at least right now, but let me just say that 9 people got baptized during this time and the unity of the Spirit was CRAZY. The Swazi man who was with us got baptized for the first time by one of the boys on our squad, Charley. He got in and I asked the Lord for a Scripture to share with him. Isaiah 61:1-3 came to mind, so I waited till God said “go.” Later, Braden asked the Lord who else, and God said “red.” There was a girl wearing all red, who had told God that He would have to push her in. After she was baptized, another girl looked up and said that she told God that she would get in if the girl in red (who wasn’t planning on it) got baptized. The Lord told Charley that he wouldn’t get baptized but He would be in the water. After the girls got in, another girl spoke up and told of a dream she had while at training camp. The dream was of our squad in South Africa with all the hands in the water praying over each person that got in. It was so specific and she told the Lord she would share if two of the people specifically got baptized-and they did, even though they weren’t originally planning on it. The Lord was SO faithful and the unity of the Spirit was absolutely WILD.

God is SO good and this day is a testament to that. Our St Lucia stay was a short one, but one that impacted so many of us. Thank you Jesus for showing up and showing out!!
