Hi again sweet family:)

This is a little recap I had written about one of my days back in Malaysia. I forgot to post it, so I figured Iโ€™d do it now!

Today held some of the sweetest blessings. There are 15 minutes left in this day Iโ€™d call bountiful, so Iโ€™ve been led to write my nightly review. I did this each night for the first few months of the race, but have fallen away over last few weeks. Praise God for so much grace, however. The Lord has asked me to once again join the rhythm of processing with Him in this way. So, here it goesโ€ฆ

What a dayโ€ฆ

โ€ขI woke up to my alarm yet fell quickly asleep. Regardless, the Lord was so gracious and woke me up 30 minutes before it was time to leave for ministry. I had enough time to get ready for the day, but lacked time in the Word. It was sweet to sit with my Abba as I waited for the van, but there was a hunger for more.

โ€ขArriving at ministry, (a bakery working with students with special needs) I started on the mural weโ€™re painting on the upstairs wall. My teammate Lia drew out the tree design and Holly and Abby painted it in. Yesterday I drew the American and Malaysian flags for the bottom, so today I painted them in. This took up most of my day, besides our break for Zumba. Ella and Carlee led us in fun, creative dances as the students danced with such enthusiasm. They loved it and so did we. Afterย Zumba we turned on some worship music. Our friend Jason started singing to his favorite song โ€œGoodness Of God.โ€ As the song came to a close another came on. My teammates and I didnโ€™t know the song that started playing, but were singing regardless. There was a pause for prayer, and all of a sudden Jason starts speaking in tongues. I was amazed at how the Lord would work through His son. Iโ€™ve been asking the Lord to show me how He reveals himself to these sweet sons of his, in a way that each one of them needs. Here was one way - our God can do anything.

โ€ขThe van ended up coming an hour and 20 minutes late to pick us up, so we didnโ€™t return home until 4:45. As we got home, the room was heavy, as many of my squadmates were feeling the weight of spiritual warfare. We took the next few hours to rest with the Lord and process the day through worship, prayer, journaling, coloring and walking. This time was beautiful and so needed. He met each one of us as we needed and gave comfort to those lacking.

โ€ขToday was a day of intentional prayer. The Spirit moved in mighty ways today and I got to lift up countless people and situations to the Father. I got to live a life of prayer today, laying hands on and anointing those at the bakery, those at home, my teammates and squad mates, members of the church, and the lost, hurting people of Malaysia.

โ€ขTonight is a prayer burn which means that every hour of the night will be covered in prayer by the blood of the Lamb:)

โ€ขTo end my time awake tonight, my sweet little team (Abby, Holly, Ella, Lia and Skylar) had 10:15pm team time. There was much laughter and goofy giggles as we shared stories, ate skittles, and let our slap happy out.

Thank you King Jesus for such a beautiful day filled with boundless blessings. Thanks for letting me be my families keeper.โ˜บ๏ธ
