Here is just a little review of my day:)

What a beautiful day it has been. A day of laughter and yawning and sweet conversations and answered prayers. It’s been a day of new opportunities, intentionality and learning to walk out in freedom. A day of worship and a time of sitting in the secret place.

Today, my squad and I went to the school. My student from last year didn’t return for the new school season, but the one the Lord promised did. I sat down to teach, but her brain was other places. It was a time filled with distractions, but beauty regardless. I cannot wait to continue loving her well and teach what the Bible says about her, even if I have but a few days left.

After returning home, it was lunch time and I started writing a blog. I sat in the church, chatting with all those around.

We then went to a cutie little coffee shop for team time and read more of our book “Gentle and Lowly” for our book study. Today’s chapter ( chapter two ) hit hard and was exactly what I needed to hear.

Coming home, the squad gathered for an announcement and learned how we can continue loving this church and the people here well, even beyond our departure.

( more on this coming soon )

After dinner, we got some ice cream and I finally finished my blog. For a large portion of the day I was working on it, but being interruptible is a beautiful thing. I asked the Lord to give me good conversations today, and He did just that. Many times it meant putting my blog down, but was worth every second to hear people, share encouragement, laugh a ton, and love them well. And the Lord STILL helped me finish it today. So many answers prayers!

Worship tonight was beyond special. He brought me into the secret place and led me to draw of the marriage of the Lamb. I drew my groom and the feast. I drew myself sitting at the foot of the throne, which is something He’s been reminding me of.

After musical worship came to a close, the handful of us sat in a circle on the stage sharing silly, meaningful and God given stories.

Ending at 11:30, I then called my dad and was touched by how the Lord is so evidently moving in his life and the encouragement he shared with me. love you dad:)
