Hey all!

Funny story…I wrote this back in March, but forgot to post it 😂 Anyways, here it is…enjoy!

I’ve struggled to find the words to write, but, finally, here comes a little life update…

Lately, my life has been full. Full of work, full of school, full of writing letters, full of meetings, full of Good. That’s not to say things haven’t been hard, but they have been good.

God has been SO faithful in every season He’s been walking me through.
As I’m nearing my launch date, i’m doing all the things, and there have been many times in these past few months where the Lord has slowed me down, given me intentional time with Him, and sent people to speak life into me.

As the weight of this coming adventure hit me, I was reminded by a couple good friends that I was made for this. That I was called specifically for His purposes. That every part of me has been fashioned specifically for His mission, which gives me great comfort. For the spirit of heaviness put on the garment of praise…

I also recently finished a project in school that felt like a mountain. I felt unqualified, yet had to be the leader. As I walked through all of the preparations, my schedule was crazy, and I felt like I didn’t have enough time. But, from the start, I concentrated it to the Lord, and He told me He would bless it. God clearly and continually told me to put in the work that I could, to do my best, and He would do the rest. He told me that He would speak right through me and that I didn’t have to worry about what to say. And low and behold, He did just that. He brought every word that I needed. He blessed and multiplied my efforts, abundantly. He taught me that He truly does give victory to His people.

As I’ve walked through the process of support raising, my first time doing it at this capacity, I’ve learned so much. I continue to learn so much. I’ve gotten to meet with people I never thought I would, build stronger relationships, be stretched out of my comfort zone, and share my heart. The way God is leading His people in generosity and creativity amazes me.

People keep asking how my support raising is going, and my answer is, “I’m really enjoying it.” This answer shocks those who ask, but it’s true. I’m a people person, so getting to meet with so many different people while rejoicing in the name of the Lord feels like an honor. I’m so grateful to have been given this opportunity:)

Lesson after lesson, opportunity after opportunity, God continues to prove Himself faithful and myself ready.

To God be all glory!!

Thanks for reading this little life update 🙂 Sorry its so late, but i’ll have a new and improved, real-time update coming soon!!

So much love,

~Rissa🫶
